The app

Ink Tag is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's standard licence agreement for apps, together with these terms. If the two conflict, these terms apply where the law allows.

Tags and hardware

Ink Tag works with battery-free NFC e-ink tags that use supported protocols. It is an independent app and is not made, endorsed or supported by any tag manufacturer. Tag makers change their hardware, so we cannot promise that every tag will work.

Writing to a tag sends commands to its hardware. Follow the on-screen guidance and keep your phone still while sending. We are not responsible for a tag that is faulty, damaged, or left blank by an interrupted write, although in our experience sending again fixes it.

Your pictures

You are responsible for what you put on a tag. Only use photos you have the right to use, and do not use Ink Tag to display anything unlawful, hateful or meant to harass someone.

Artwork in the app

The stock photos, cartoon pals, Inky and the designs in Ink Tag belong to Eluma Labs Ltd. You may send them to your own tags and show them anywhere you like for personal use. Please do not extract them from the app, resell them, or use them to make a competing product.

Availability

Ink Tag is provided "as is". We aim to keep it working well, but we do not guarantee that it will be free of errors or that a particular feature will always be available. We may change or remove features.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law of England and Wales, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will post changes here. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
